I felt some obligation to bid adieu the members of this community since I had become pleasantly acquainted with many of you and even tried for some time to contribute to leadership when needed. It would have been unthinkably rude, in my mind, to just never come back without saying something to those I had come to regard as friends.
The best explanation for my departure is now in my profile on AO3. I am posting it in this particular subforum because it concerns fanfiction. I will paste it below for your viewing convenience.
Notice of 'Resignation'.
I had a handful of stories up and was working especially within the GoT (ASoIaF) fandom. The writing was high quality--the content was distressing and the process of writing it led to an incident of demonic oppression. I have taken down those stories that triggered nightmares in both waking and sleeping. I will not be re-posting or sharing them. They are gone from my life and I am no longer involved in fanfiction in any way as it tends to be a trigger for me.
I focus now on better knowing and emulating the person of Jesus the Christ. I will never return to this place. I've closed the door.

Thank you all so much for your friendship and conversation. You were all a great comfort to me at a time when I very much needed it. I hope that you all continue in life with much beauty and joy and peace in abundance.
