Prompt! I don't even know what to do about this, but I was struck with a feeling this would yield something good: In chapter 15 of the book "A Game of Thrones", in the part where Sansa is trying to reason with Arya, there is something that just
leaped out at me at the very end of this portion...
“I don’t like the queen,” Arya said casually. Sansa sucked in her breath, shocked that even Arya would say such a thing, but her sister prattled on, heedless. “She won’t even let me bring Nymeria.” She thrust the brush under her belt and stalked her wolf. Nymeria watched her approach warily.
“A royal wheelhouse is no place for a wolf,” Sansa said. “And Princess Myrcella is afraid of them, you know that.”
“Myrcella is a little baby.” Arya grabbed Nymeria around her neck, but the moment she pulled out the brush again the direwolf wriggled free and bounded off. Frustrated, Arya threw down the brush.
“Bad wolf!” she shouted.
Sansa couldn’t help but smile a little. The kennelmaster once told her that
an animal takes after its master.
So, the
PROMPT: Once properly trained, there is some way that Reek grows to take after his master, Lord Ramsay.
What could that be since he's required to behave in a certain way that is pretty much Ramsay's opposite? I don't know, exactly. That is for you to decide.
Perhaps it is something simple like Reek beginning to enjoy his master's favorite foods and other preferred things, or something extreme like worshipping him to the extent that he feels his own sexual satisfaction through Ramsay's acts of sadism when they're inflicted upon others as well as himself--even to the point that he feels happy if he thinks that Ramsay might punish someone?
-----> Perhaps he grows to enjoy the hunt very much and wants to behave as the rest of the hounds, 'ripping at the girls'?? <-------------
Oh,
I like that last one. It shows a complete transformation that would truly make Ramsay proud.
We have already seen Reek viciously bite his own sister to prove his loyalty to his master and make sure he gets to stay with him.
I say that if we see a Reek who has been sufficiently trained to become violent at Ramsay's bidding and even hostile to the point of growling just by sensing Ramsay's displeasure at something, then we have a very-well trained little bed-warmer indeed (and a very proud and happy Ramsay).
Yes. Let there be a Reek who will respond as eagerly as the hounds when Ramsay shouts 'rip her!' and take a helpless girl's face clear off.
So morbid.. even a bit too close to home for me in some ways, but hey if it wasn't completely disturbing and messed up, it wouldn't be them, right?
So I want to see... 'HOUND-RAT REEK'.
It will take someone with a strong stomach to be up to writing that. I'm interested to see who takes on the challenge.
So excited.. ♫
