I just drew this under 15 minutes, even without a rough sketch, just started with a pen and finished right there. The garments look more like those from the Renaissance than those which from the medieval era, truth to be told. However, I didn't go research for the right costumes of the era, because I just let myself draw whatever came to my mind at the moment... in my opinion, lots of times, things get fun in that way - spontaneity Guess they turned out some mixture of both periods?! Her forehead is high and broad in this drawing, because she has plucked her hair there, as it was the fad for high noble ladies back in the time. Gave a thought whether eyebrows be removed or not as well, but they were left, untouched, me thinking that sans them the portrait would seem too queer... maybe lol
